For years, our superintendents of education across this state have been elected by the people of Mississippi. This type of electoral system allows for one of the highest forms of accountability directly from Mississippians’, and not through another governmental body. Today, state officials are trying to change this through legislation. If successful, many individuals will lose the direct impact they have on such a selection process for our superintendents in Mississippi. ‪#‎trustmississippivoters‬
