The very first line in the military oath of enlistment and the congressional oath of office is first for a reason, it’s the most important thing in preserving (or restoring) this Republic. All that follows is meaningless without the beginning.
I had a long talk with a good friend yesterday who I don’t often disagree with but even when I do it doesn’t change our friendship or my level of respect for him. The conversation partly covered our choices in the GOP POTUS primary, w…e both agreed that their were positives and negatives to our particular choices and also that it would take some substantial spine in that seat to right the wrongs which have taken place lately. I hope the majority of you share my sentiment in that first line of the oath should be the binding force that drives your principles and make your choices accordingly. Otherwise without those unwavering principles we become that 3rd world country that many not only want us to be but are working diligently to make us. Choose wisely.

Tennessee sent a message to the President of the United States today: back off!
Tennessee’s 109th General Assembly called for a modern day “Convention of States” by passing Senate Joint Resolution 67 (SJR0067) 59 votes to 31. This gives states a method of changing the Constitution without permission of Congress or the President. The Founding Fathers gave us the provision that has been described as a “Constitutional Emergency cord” in Article V, to be pulled in case the feder…al government got too large and drunk with its own power.
Today, Tennessee pulled that cord. With Obamacare, entitlements, and government agencies being used as weapons against the citizenry, it’s time to use the Constitution to save it.
“Our founders saw a day when we would need to stop the abuses of a federal government,” explained Rep. Sheila Butt (R-Dist. 64). “They wisely provided a tool that was a tried and true process, one they themselves had used 30 times before they got to the Convention in Philadelphia. The amendment process that is outlined in Article V of the constitution is their gift to us, we need to display the courage of our Founders and not the timidity of serfs. They work for We the people, and we are not happy with what they have done.”

PETER SANTILLI SPEAKS TO NEWS2SHARE FROM JAIL ABOUT OREGON STANDOFF
News2Share has received a letter from Peter Santilli, a radio host and former United States… Marine arrested on January 27th during the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge standoff in Oregon. Despite wearing a vest labelled “Press” as well as credentials affiliated with his network, Talk Network News, The FBI alleges that Santilli participated with the occupiers rather than reporting on them. In their criminal complaint, the FBI alleges “The vest SANTILLI is wearing has a clearly visible Oath Keeper patch on front. ”
On February 1st, News2Share Managing Editor Ford Fischer mailed Santilli a letter at the Inverness Jail, where he is being held without bond. In a letter dated February 11, Santilli responded.

****I know it’s controversial. I DO NOT condone a lot of what the group stands for nor do I condone their tactics or rhetoric or some of the backers. However, lets imagine if we could find a common cause. A way that we could literally make the overreaching government shudder in disbelief that the walls of race and geographic living could be shattered and the two groups could band together to bring the elites game to a halt.**** Im simply looking for a way to bring all Americans into the fight of freedom versus tyranny. Divided we fall together we stand.
